2009-born Keralite Mohammad Alfah to join Inter Milan’s Academy

Mohammad Alfah joins Inter Milan’s affiliate Accademia Isola Bergamasca (AIB)

The young striker from Kerala Mohammad Alfah joined Inter Milan’s academy Accademia Isola Bergamasca (AIB) for next season. He was earlier part of Adlers Lombard, which is a Milan-based club run by a group of Keralites.

Adlers Lombard FC began its journey in the Italian football system by competing in CSI (Centro Sportivo Italiano),Regione Bergamo.

A lower division in the Italian Football League system the competition consists of 12 teams.

The squad consists of 15 Keralites along with a couple of Local players which made the 20 members squad in the League.

The club laid its foundation under Kerala European Football Federation in 2019 which plays 7-a-side football. In 2022 the club won 5 tournaments hosted by Kerala European Football Federation.

Six championships in six different countries in Europe this prompted the club to register in the Italian Football League system.

It is believe that Adlers Lombard FC is the first Indian Club going to participate in Italian Football League.

The Accademia Isola Bergamasca is a non-profit sports academy, aimed at the activity of the youth sector (from 8 to 16 years).

The Accademia Isola Bergamasca announced its participation in the Inter grassroots program.

it will ensure collaboration in the area with academies and promotion of projects within the academy, also have improvements such as players with a view to football and personal growth.

The (AIB) is among one of the academies in the region that are accredits as Elite Football School by the Italian Federation.

The Italian exposure, which Md Alfah, could ensure that he becomes a better player as the academy is partner with Inter Milan’s Grassroot Programme.
