Verito spent two seasons with Olimpic Xativa, Sudeva’s Spanish wing
22-year-old defender Mohit Singh ‘Verito’ has signed for Rajasthan United on a three-year-long contract, the club has announced.
Born in Haryana, Mohit Verito played most of his youth football as a Sudeva captain at various levels. He captained his club through the U-15, U-16, and U-18 levels as well as in the Delhi League. The right-back also possesses the experience of playing in the Hero I-League as well as the Durand Cup.
After getting retained by Sudeva for the 2020-21 season, Mohit flew to Spain where he spent the next two seasons with Sudeva’s Spanish wing, Olimpic Xativa. He played in Prefrente and Primera Leagues where he scored 3 goals as a right-back. Now that he has returned, Rajasthan United signed him up for three years.
Ever since bursting onto the scene, Rajasthan United has become a solid platform for youngsters to put themselves on display. Gyamar Nikum, Melroy Assisi, etc. are just a few of the examples in an ever-increasing list.

But after getting promoted and fascinating everyone with their Durand Cup campaign, Rajasthan could only finish tenth in I-League 2022-23. The team temporarily based itself on the Ambedkar Stadium, in Delhi. The other club to have its base in Delhi, Sudeva FC, got relegated with a shameful tournament record of 3-4-15. The entire campaign only resulted in 13 points.
