Indian Football Legend Renedy Singh takes charge as Bengaluru FC’s Assistant Coach
Bengaluru FC has made an astute decision by appointing former Indian national team captain, Renedy Singh, as their assistant coach. With his vast experience and leadership qualities, the 44-year-old will play a pivotal role in strengthening the coaching staff and guiding the club’s first-team players.
Renowned as a talented midfielder, Renedy Singh has an impressive collection of honors including four Hero I-League titles and a Hero Super Cup triumph. He also represented Kerala Blasters FC in the 2015 Hero ISL season.
Renedy Singh Coaching Career
Post his retirement in 2015, Renedy Singh swiftly transitioned into coaching.After he gained coaching experiences at FC Pune City and NEROCA FC, he had joined East Bengal FC as assistant manager for Hero ISL 2020-21.
After Manuel Diaz’s departure, he became interim head coach for East Bengal FC and created history by fielding an all-Indian starting eleven against Jamshedpur FC, emphasizing his commitment to local talent.
