The forward reunites with Owen Coyle

Chennaiyin FC have announced their new signing Farukh Choudhary. The Former Indian International has experience in ISL. Farukh Choudhary is a product of Lonestar Kashmir FC and played for Mumbai FC in the I-League (2017).

He was offered by three ISL clubs but he joined Marina Machan’s camp. Farukh made his ISL debut with Kerala Blasters FC. His main recognition in the league was with Jamshedpur FC. then traded to Mumbai City FC during the championship season. The Indian Winger played 76 ISL games, he scored 3 goals and 5 assists in ISL. The Indian Winger also represented India in International Arena on eight appearances.

Farukh Choudhary suffered an ACL injury last season, He couldn’t make it for the 2021-22 ISL season.

He came back from the injury but he was not in Jamshedpur FC Line up under Head Coach Aidy Boothroyd.

But Farukh Choudhary is standing in front of new challenges as he needs to compete for a place in Line up. According to the sources. he is a favorite for Scottish Head Coach Owen Coyle as he returned to CFC after 3 years.

It is expected that Farukh will perform well for the Marina Machans and lead them to the third title in their history.
