EXCL: NorthEast United FC sign double-RFDL winner Shigil from BFC Reserves

Indian Super League club NorthEast United FC is also gearing up for the upcoming season. As a part of that, North East United FC has brought Kerala-born midfielder Shighil Nambrath from the Bengaluru FC reserve team, we can confirm.

Hailing from Kerala, Shighil is a young talented midfielder. With this signing, NorthEast United FC gets a good midfielder for the future.

Shighil is a brilliant player who entered football by representing the Kerala team in the Santosh Trophy. The 20-year-old is a Santhosh Trophy Winner with the Kerala team. Shighil is also a double RFDL (Reliance Foundation Development League) winner with Bengaluru FC. After performing well in the Bengaluru Reserve team, Shighil, a Kerala native, has been signed by NorthEast United FC.

The 20-year-old has reportedly signed for NorthEast United FC on a two-year deal. Only medicals pending. Expect an announcement from the Highlanders in the coming days.
