The Minerva Academy FC are rampaging into the Last eight teams of the Gothia Cup 2023 as the tournament is nearing its climax end.
The young players of Minerva Academy FC qualified for the Quarter Final after defeating another Swedish side in the tournament.
The players showcasing their talent and skills in the coveted Gothia Cup 2023, also the academy is yet to be defeated and concede a goal in the tournament and performance of the players shows how determined they are also their quality against strong European sides in this edition.
Minerva Academy FC successfully qualified for the quarter Final spot after thrashing another Swedish youth club AFC Eskilstuna in the Round of 16. The academy showed their quality yet again by scoring 5-0 in this tournament, the goal scorers are Regson 5′, Anurag 41′, Denish 44′, Moosa 47′ and Jayed scored his goal in the 48th minute in the game, and the hat-trick of the day.
The Academy’s next opponents is another Swedish side Onnerreds IK 1 for the Semi-Final spot in the U13 Boys category, Onnerreds IK 1 is also undefeated in their group stage were they scored 9 points by winning all the three matches against the youth clubs from France, England and Sweden.
This may be one of the toughest matches for the Minerva Academy FC, but still the boys are ready to their worth in the field and all set to book their place in the Semi Final of Gothia Cup 2023.
