Hyderabad FC Secures Felipe da Silva Amorim After Transfer Ban Lifted

Hyderabad FC’s international roster continues to expand as they introduce Brazilian attacker Felipe da Silva Amorim to their ranks. The announcement was made on Monday, following the lifting of the transfer ban.

Felipe, 32, has committed to a one-year contract with HFC, positioning himself for an active role within the squad during the upcoming 2023-24 season.

“I am delighted to sign with Hyderabad FC. My main objective is to contribute to the club’s achievements, and I eagerly await the opportunity to showcase my skills in the Indian Super League.”

Originating from Brazil, Felipe embarked on his football journey in his hometown before making a mark with Fluminense in 2016. He later ventured into Asia, representing Suphanburi in Thailand for the past three seasons. His impressive tally of nearly 100 appearances spans various competitions, and he notably secured the Thai FA Cup with the team in 2021.

“I am excited about mentoring the club’s emerging talents and setting a precedent for my fellow teammates,” he affirmed, emphasizing his dedication to cultivating a strong team dynamic in the upcoming season.
