AIFF has announced a 34-women squad for the preparation of the Paris Olympic qualifiers second round camp in Bhubaneswar. Reportedly on players’ demands, Thomas Dennerby has taken up the head coach role again, but only for the Olympic Qualifier Round 2.
Indian Womens Team are going to prepare for the AFC Women’s Paris Olympics Qualifiers 2024 second round in Bhubaneswar. They qualified for the second after defeating the Kyrgyz Republic in the Group G clash in Bishkek.
The Blue Tigresses are going to play against mighty Japan, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan in the second round. They are placed in Group C and will play in Tashkent.
Last time out, Blue Tigresses failed to qualify for the third round in 2020, due to missing out on the goal difference against Myanmar in the second round.
