Jamshedpur FC Reserve successfully wins the JSA Premier Division for the first time after defeating TATA Steel in the Final
Jamshedpur FC reserves side emerged champions JSA Premier Division 2023, on a spectacular performance from the young side.
The Jamshedpur FC (R) becoming the new champions of JSA League Premier Division 2023, first time in their history after 3-1 victory against TATA Steel.
JSA league commenced on 5th July 2023 which had the participation of 43 clubs in three divisions, the Premier Division has 11 teams competing against each other on a Round Robin basis, and top four teams will qualify for the semi finals.
Jamshedpur FC (R) qualified for the semi final spots after they got 20 points in the top division and finished in fourth position ahead of Jharkhand SC.
Defending Champions TATA Motors finished in top with 25 points, behind TATA Steel with 25 points and Babulal Soren Football Academy with 20 points respectively.
Jamshedpur FC (R) met the defending champions TATA Motors in the Semi Final 1 of JSA Premier Division and won that match by 2-0 margin on the other hand, TATA Steel smashed Babulal Soren Football Academy by 4-0 in the Semi Final 2.
The reserve side of Jamshedpur FC defeated TATA Steel in a 3-1 comeback fashion after conceding a goal earlier part in the JSA League Premier Division 2023 Final and becomes the Champions of the city.
The Jamshedpur FC (R) is currently participating in the 132nd Durand Cup 2023 alongside with last edition runners up Mumbai City FC, Mohemmedan SC and Indian Navy, they lost to Mumbai City FC by 5-0 in Yuva Bharati Krirangan Stadium, Kolkata.
