NorthEast United FC has reason to celebrate as they welcome Nestor Albiach, affectionately called El Lince, to their team for the 2023-24 season. The Spanish forward’s signing marks an exciting addition to the squad. The third foreign recruit and the seventh overall new signing for the Highlanders. With such talented acquisitions, the team is gearing up for an eventful and promising season ahead.
Nestor Albiach’s love for football started at a tender age of six when he joined Levante. Throughout his career, he has showcased his versatility and attacking prowess mainly in Spain and the Czech Republic. Notably, he had the honor of playing for the prestigious Sparta Prague, the record 13-time Czech First League champions. Albiach’s talent even earned him a spot in the UEFA Europa League. Where he contributed his skills on the grand stage. NorthEast United FC has acquired a player with valuable experience and expertise to strengthen their squad further.

After his footballing adventures abroad, Nestor Albiach made his way back to Spain in 2019. He showcased his talents for clubs like Badalona and Numancia over the next two and a half seasons. It was in 2021 that he found a significant role at Rayo Majadahonda. During his time with Rayo Majadahonda, he amassed an impressive record of over 70 appearances for the club. NorthEast United FC has undoubtedly acquired a player with a wealth of experience and a proven track record in the Spanish football circuit.
